The problem of self-education occupies minds of people all over the world. This issue has caused a heated discussion because some people guess that self-education is not very effective while others strongly disagree with them. Let’s speculate what stands behind it.

I am convinced that self-education is effective enough. First of all, you can learn anything with no waste of money. Secondly, teachers at school don’t always pay attention to you and you should work by yourself as well. A further convincing argument is that you can study in your free time in the comfort of your room.

However, there is another side to the issue. It is said that self-education is not efficient. Not everyone can force himself to study hard without a teacher by his side. Besides, nobody checks your work, that’s why you don’t know why your answers are wrong.

To a certain extent, it can be right, but we shouldn’t forget that more and more people are engaged in self-education and it develops their minds and imagination and helps them in studying at school and at the university.

All in all, I suppose that you can learn something by yourself. As for me, I like studying by myself because I can find out the things that I can’t learn at school and I’m sure it will help me in future.
