It is impossible to imagine our life without music. There are a lot of diverse musical genres. Plenty of people love music very much, always listen to it, and are sure music has a positive influence on everyone. However, the others disagree with this opinion.

I suppose, music makes our life better. It is not a secret that if you have a bad mood and listen to a merry song, your mood will improve. When your mood is good, you have success in everything you do. Also, scientists have proved that music helps human nervous system work well. All of us know that healthy nervous system is important for our health in general. Health is our main wealth, isn’t it? Finally, music helps people find and make friends. Without friends our life would be dull and not interesting.

Despite all these arguments there are those who believe music affects people negatively. They claim that music can distract you from an important job. In addition, they are sure some kinds of music such as rap and hard rock make you angry.

These reasons are quite strong but they do not convince me. If you cannot concentrate while listening to music, you just should turn it off until you finish your job. Besides rap and hard rock there are a lot of music genres which are positive enough.

In conclusion, I want to say that music is a universal language which helps us live.
