Nowadays family is a basic constituent of any nation. A lot of factors make it happy, and children are among of them. Some people prefer to have big families but the others come to nothing more than only one child. Who is right?

In my opinion, large families are better than small ones. To begin with, when there are two or more children in the family, they are used to be more sociable and less egoistic. Furthermore, a child from a big family has a better chance to prosper in life as siblings tend to support each other. Last but not least, it is difficult to feel lonely in a big family because there is a wider variety of persons to spend time with.

But some people claim that not all big families succeed in learning how to live in loving harmony. Besides, not all parents in such families master the art of giving each of the children the individual attention all kids need.

In my opinion, a big family is a good thing as it is a valuable support system whether in sharing the care of aging parents or in helping one another in times of stress.

All in all, I believe that it does not matter if the family is big or small. Needless to say, happy families come in all sizes. That is why it is essential to maintain the atmosphere of love, mutual respect and understanding.
