Nowadays it becomes very popular to adopt children from abroad. Many people remark only a favorable side of this issue , but others do not. Let us consider whether adoption of a child from another country means giving him a chance for a bright future.
I am opposed to adoption of children from abroad. To begin with, it is not uncommon that children adopted to a new family from abroad receive unkind, sometimes very cruel treatment, instead of prosperous life. More over, when a child comes to a new country he faces some serious problems. Firstly, there is a language barrier. Secondly, there are no any friends or acquainted people. Thirdly, there is a new culture, traditions and people with another mentality. All these may seem strange and frightening to a child.
The public in general tends to believe that a child can get a decent education and a happy life living abroad. But I can’t agree with this statement. Let us try to understand that If a child has a desire to study, he may approve himself in his own homeland. Those who think that overseas gives happier life and greater features may be also right, but it does not assess them as patriots. We need to love our country and believe in its future.
Summarizing, it can be said that adoption of children from abroad is a huge opportunity for orphans to have a family, but it is necessary to keep abreast of respecting the children’s rights overseas.
