The problem of effectiveness of Internet education has always aroused heated debates.

I personally think that nothing can beat traditional education which is proved to be the most effective. Firstly, there are a lot of talented teachers who have their subjects at their fingertips. The information from the Internet is not always profound. Secondly, a teacher can help to draw students’ attention to the most important details and accurate facts. As far as the Internet is concerned, the analysis of the different viewpoints is often shallow. Besides, the network has a lot of spam and other totally useless information that distracts students. Last but not least, the Internet provides prepared solutions which don't give learners an opportunity to make their own conclusions and don't develop the logic.

However, there are people who consider online education to be a brilliant alternative to traditional education. Firstly, distance learning is an important and effective way for the disabled to get an education. Secondly, an easy and quick access to information shortens the learning curve. Moreover, Internet learners can exchange and share information by using social networks.

I disagree with these contentions. Traditional education is the most effective for all categories of students because it involves people, who are close together, can communicate face-to-face and take an active part in various activities exchanging and sharing information straight from the horse's mouth.

To sum up, despite the opinion of my opponents, I still believe that nothing can be better than traditional education!
