Nowadays self-education is getting more and more popular. Children can study at home by their parents. However, some people think that self-education is not very effective. Now I would like to express my opinion.

I really believe that self-education is good for children, especially for kids who have problems with classmates or teachers at school. Firstly, those children who are bullied or made fun of and feel unhappy or depressed will feel more confident at home because they can get much support. They will be able not to be afraid of being laughed at and will avoid humiliation. Secondly, self-education helps to organize their time for studying more effectively. Thirdly, it's a good chance to combine work with studying choosing your own curriculum.

Nevertheless, some people think that self-education is not very effective. Firstly, children can't get enough knowledge at home because parents are not professionals and home experienced teachers need to be paid. Secondly, children can become reserved because of the lack of communication and it can be difficult for them to feel comfortable among their classmates and will lead to avoid being around people. The reason why I do not agree with them is the fact that if a child has got a motivation and responsibility for studying, he will get enough knowledge.

Taking everything into consideration, I think that education at home is better than at school, but it's up to a child or parents to decide what kind of education to choose.
