Nowadays teenage students aren’t only concentrated on their studies but also engaged in part time jobs. For some young people this tendency has a positive impact while for others working results in becoming an underachiever.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s a good idea for youngsters to start part time jobs. Firstly, adolescents begin to work as team members, they acquire knowledge how to share responsibilities and compromise with other employees. Secondly, teenagers get new skills, gain more experience, developing into trustworthy and desirable collaborators for future employers. Finally, students not only realize that it takes a lot of effort to make a living but also find out the value of money.

Nevertheless, some people claim that working distracts students from studying. Teenages should focus on getting a degree because education is considered to be a matter of their utmost importance.

However, I don’t agree with this argument because employers afford an opportunity of a flexible schedule for part-time workers. This means that a person may choose the most suitable time to reconcile working with studying, which, consequently, requires being more discreet and punctual as there is no time for procrastination.

To sum up, youngsters should choose themselves whether to work while studying or only to study. Yet, I firmly believe that working in the teens is a precious experience. This little but very essential length of work in adolescence will definitely provide a benefit in the future when a person, as a mature adult, starts a full time job.
