Thousands of roads stretch before us when we finish school. Which professional road to choose – the one that your parents chose one day or the one you like? That is a very difficult question!
I think that if you decided to choose the way of parents you can always ask them for advice because they are experts in this or that field. Moreover, you can apply knowledge about a future work very easily.
But on the other hand, every teenager wants to express his individuality, talent for something and inclinations in order to feel himself older. In addition, a teenager observes the society he lives in, looking for ideals and the role model. Sometimes the opinions of friends are more important to a teenager than the opinions of his parents.
I do not agree that we need to follow in the footsteps of our parents. Although their experience is significant for our future life, in future one will need to learn to live independently, test his character and then one day he can understand that it is not his course of life.
The choice of profession is a very hard question that cannot be solved after thinking only once. One has to weigh all the possible advantages and disadvantages, to analyse the opinions of family and friends, but he must remember that the final solution to do belongs to himself.
