In the last few decades sport has caught on with many people of all ages.
More parents are tending to believe in positive influence of sport towards their children’s health. For this reason, they aim at joining their kids to different sports clubs. Let us consider what are the advantages and disadvantages of children’s doing sport .
I am absolutely convinced that sport is of inestimable benefit to children . According to a great majority of scientists, involving children to sport from   an early age improves kid’s physical and mental state to a large extend. Firstly, sport strengthens the child’s body and enlarges resistance to many illnesses. Secondly, it develops  memory, logic and strategical thinking. In addition to this, going in for sport a child gets self-confidence, much positive emotions and a lot of new friends.
However, there is another side of the coin. Some parents reckon that sport can be harmful to the children. The most common argument against sport is connected with its injury risk. They also claim that sport effects badly on child’s school results for a lack of time.
In my opinion, not all sports are  injury-causing. I would advice to choose sport with less strain not to overload a kid. Everything should be within reasonable limits. I am entirely confirmed that sport bends children to a strict discipline and teaches them to arrange their time rationally.
Taking everything into account, children should definitely be encouraged to go in for sports and whatever sport they choose they will not waste their time but spend it profitably.
