1. Choose a student to be “It” and tell her/him to leave the classroom.
2. Split the class into two groups. Tell students in one group that they are honest; they must always tell the truth. Tell students from the other group that they are liars; they always have to lie.
3. Hide an object (a pen, a ruler, a rubber, a coin or a tiny toy) somewhere in the classroom.
4. Invite the student who is “It” to come in. Tell her/him that there is an object hidden somewhere and that s/he has to ask peers questions, but some of them will answer honest and some will tell lies.
5. The “It”-student has to guess what is hidden and where asking questions like “Is it a pen?” and “Is it under the carpet?”
6. Having made a decision the “It” can come to the place and check. If the object is there, the “It” has to say about a student, whether s/he is an honest or a liar. If the “It” guesses correctly, the student becomes “It”. If not the “It” must be “It” again.
